About Matthew Ware
Matthew Ware is an accountant and the CEO of MW Tax and Business Consulting LLC, which specializes in small business consulting, financial reporting and preparation of taxes (corporate and personal). The firm also helps prepare business plans for small businesses, assists its clients to start new businesses, and represents its clients before the IRS in tax resolution cases.
Prior to founding MW Tax & Business Consulting, Mr. Ware was a senior financial consultant for the Georgia Department of Community Affairs. There he concentrated on setting up and improving financial reporting system for local governments in Georgia. He wrote the “Full Cost Accounting Manual for Local Government/Landfills," and worked for ten years as a senior accountant and controller for the Kendall Company (a subsidiary of Colgate-Palmolive). In total, Mr. Ware has over 30 years of experience which he leverages on behalf of his clients.
Mr. Ware has earned degrees from Fisk University and Western Wyoming College, attending both on basketball scholarships. He is married to E. Noreen Banks-Ware, an attorney and past administrative law judge. They have two children and practice in Lithonia Georgia together.
